Rickard Dahl's Blog: Bohusleden Walk #2: Stensjön-Kåsjön (Saturday 10/06-17)

After a couple of days I returned to the Bohusleden walks. Once again I chose something close to home. I traveled to Stensjön (bus stop Kristinedal) and from there I walked a total of 16.5km to Kåsjön (the part of the walk from Skatås to Kåsjön overlaps with Vildmarksleden and I've already walked this part last year when walking Vildmarksleden). In total the walk took 4h30min and thus my average speed was approximately 3.67km/h.
In any case, the walk goes for the most part on promenade roads through the Delsjö area nature reserve (Delsjöområdet, named after the lakes Stora Delsjön and Lilla Delsjön) and its' surroundings. This is a very popular area for open-air activities such as walking, jogging and bathing. Although it doesn't have much of a wilderness feeling it is still very beautiful. Some parts of the walk go on footpaths in the woods but the footpaths are in good condition. Other than that it can be noted that the weather was good although it was somewhat cloudy.

Stora Delsjön. Slightly increased the contrast and brightness for the non-sky parts using the Brightness-Contrast tool.

Härlanda tjärn. Rotated the photo slightly and cropped it. Also darkened the sky slightly using the levels tool.
