Bohusleden Walk #5: Aleklätten-Grandalen (Tuesday 22/08-17)

Already the next day I continued the Bohusleden walks by walking between Aleklätten and Grandalen. I arrived at the Aleklätten bus stop at 10:08 and from there I walked 0.2km to reach the Bohusleden trail. I then walked 12.5km of the Bohusleden trail to reach Grandalen and walked 0.3km further to reach the Grandalen bus stop. The walk was thus in total 13km. This was the shortest walk in 2017. In any case, the total duration for the walk was 3h59mins. Thus my average speed was 3.26km/h, which was slightly faster than the previous Bohusleden walk.
Overall it was a short but interesting walk. The walk goes mostly through coniferous forests (which are quite interesting) but there are also some beautiful non-coniferous forest segments. A big contrast between this walk and the previous Bohusleden walk (between Angereds kyrka and Aleklätten) is that there is only one lake near the trail, namely Romesjön. Although the terrain is dominated by forests there is also some small scale farm land and a few villages. Other than that it can be noted that the weather was decent; the sky was semi-clear for most of the day. It can also be noted that I saw a slowworm (and thankfully I got pretty good photos of the slowworm). Finally, if I remember correctly I did get wet shoes and changed my socks near Romesjön.
